[ARCHIVED] HRPDC and HRTPO New Employee Round-Up

The HRPDC and HRTPO have added new employees to their staff rosters. Here’s a round-up of the new faces you’ll see around the halls of the Regional Building. Say “Hello!” and welcome them to our regional team.

Adithi Moogoor HRPDC, Housing SpecialistAdithi Moogoor, HRPDC Housing Specialist

Adithi brings a wealth of experience in housing and community development, with a strong background in Urban Planning and Architecture. She comes to us from a similar consortium of cities and counties, most recently serving as a Housing Planner for the City of Medford, MA. In that role, she focused on affordable housing initiatives and successfully established the Affordable Housing Trust Fund Board for Medford. She was also responsible for the downpayment and closing cost assistance consortia.

Her impressive background also includes work in zoning and development with the City of Cambridge, MA, and valuable experience in placemaking and placekeeping at CultureHouse, a non-profit urban design organization. Adithi has also worked internationally as a research consultant on neighborhood developments in Singapore and practiced as an architect in India.


Husain Alegimenlen, HRTPO Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) team

Husain Alegimenlen HRTPO, Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP)Husain holds a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Science and Technology from Jacksonville State University and a B.S. in Geophysics from Ambrose Alli University in Nigeria. During his master's studies, he also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Physics. He led a campus-wide pedestrian safety research project that combined police crash data with public perception surveys to identify risk areas and recommend improvements. His experience also includes working as a GIS Technician at EcoTech Solutions and serving as President of the Sustainable Development Goals Community Development group during his time with Nigeria’s National Youth Service Corps.

In his free time, Husain enjoys gardening, hiking, playing football, swimming, and losing himself in a good fiction book.
